Taking time out at the Roman Ampitheatre in Aman. It's a great place read the Old Testament!

Trekking to the Dead Sea from Mt Nebo. It looked to me like just a short stetch of the legs, but after several hours in the midday sun it became apparent that it would actually take me several weeks! It turned out to be 32kms in the end.

On the bank of the river Jordan, where Jesus may have been baptised. It's easy to lose your breath when you stand here and think about that.
