Images of London
Life
A glimpse of daily London
life, from my favourite clothing stores to my favourite dodgy lunch
spot.
Mile End Tube Station. Oh, how I miss
it!
The Thomas Pink shop in Jermyn Street, maker of
the world's finest business shirts in my opinion
(if only for the reason that
they have shirts that fit my stupidly long arms).
The Starbucks Cafe on Leicester Square, where I
spent far too much money every morning before work.
The incredible view from London Bridge, over
which I walked every night on the way home to South East London when I lived
there.
The Swiss Re building and the top of St
Andrew's, just near St Helen's.
The Lloyd's building on Leadenhall.
Platform 14 at London Bridge, from which I
caught the train every night on the way to SE London.
The Crystal Palace train, which seemed like it
ran once a day,
and always five minutes before I needed it.
The London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Big
Ben.
Swimming in the fountain at Trafalgar Square in
summer with the guys from work.
Liverpool Street Station, from which several
mystery adventures into the English countryside began.
An unfortunate, but common experience on the
London public trasnport system.
Simultaneously an incredible service, and the
source of so much grief.
The Woo Sang - my favourite lunch spot in
Chinatown. Quick, dirty, cheap and delicious.
