Surely, it can be said
that life is upside down in this world,
or at least enigmatic.
In all the most beautiful moments I've known,
there was a sense of quiet sorrow.
In all the darkest moments,
a glimmer of truth, hope and wonder
that could not be previously perceived.
At it's best, life is terrible
At it's worst, life is terribly wonderful.
